Airport commerce infrastructure

Every counter in the terminal. One checkout.

LayOver is the payments and operating layer for airport food courts and lounges — one basket for the traveller, one settlement per outlet, one view for the airport.

Browser checkout

Scan a QR at the table, seat or door. No app to install.

One payment, split

A single traveller payment, allocated to each outlet’s share.

Pilots open

Food courts and lounges — we’re onboarding launch partners.

The problem

A food court sells as one space — and transacts as twenty.

01

Two counters, two queues.

Coffee from one outlet and a meal from another means queuing and paying twice, with boarding time running.

02

Every outlet, its own till.

Separate terminals mean separate settlements, separate reports and no shared picture of the space.

03

Lounges turn away paying guests.

Walk-in access is sold by hand at the desk, if at all — travellers often don’t know they can buy in.

See it work

One basket. Four outlets. Pay once.

Build an order across counters and a lounge, pay in one step, then flip to the operations view to watch each outlet receive its own ticket and share.

This is a working interface running on simulated data — outlet names and prices are illustrative. No payment is taken.

For airports

A checkout standard for the whole terminal.

Concessionaires keep their brands, menus and operations. The airport gets a consistent traveller experience and a single place to see how its shared spaces trade.

01

Consistent checkout

The same scan-and-pay experience at every participating outlet, instead of a different terminal at each counter.

02

Outlet-level settlement

Each concessionaire receives its own share of every multi-outlet payment, separated automatically.

03

One view of shared spaces

Combined activity across a food court or lounge, rather than separate reports assembled later.

04

Lounges, opened up

A simple way for travellers outside card and airline programmes to buy access.

How it works

Three steps from counter to settlement.

The full model
  1. 01

    Onboard the outlets

Each participating counter or lounge is set up with its menu, pricing and settlement details. A QR code is placed at tables, seats or the lounge door.

  2. 02

    Travellers order and pay once

A traveller scans, builds one basket across outlets or buys lounge access, and pays in a single checkout in the browser.

  3. 03

    Outlets fulfil, money is split

Each outlet receives only its own ticket. The payment is allocated to each outlet’s share, and the airport sees the combined activity.

Where this goes

The terminal, on one layer.

Food courts and lounges first. Then retail and services — every concession on the same checkout, and the airport able to see its terminal trade as one place.

Launch partners

Let’s put LayOver in a terminal.

We’re looking for launch partners — airports, food courts and lounges — to pilot one checkout across their outlets.
